Cleaning and maintenance of the four countertops of the cabinet

Cabinet countertops can be roughly divided into four categories: natural stone countertops, artificial stone countertops, refractory decorative board countertops and stainless steel countertops. For different cabinet countertops, our cleaning and maintenance methods are not all the same. We must pay more attention to the details:

Cabinet natural stone countertops

Maintenance: When there are stains on the countertop, they should be wiped clean in time to prevent the stains from penetrating into the interior through natural fine lines. In order to prevent the countertop from cracking, avoid heavy objects hitting the countertop and direct contact with overheated objects during use.

Cleaning: The cabinets should be cleaned with soft scouring pads, not toluene cleaners, otherwise it will be difficult to remove the stains. When removing scale, do not use strong acid toilet powder, dilute hydrochloric acid, etc., otherwise it will damage the glaze and make it lose its luster.

Artificial stone countertop

Maintenance: The artificial stone countertops should be prevented from bleaching and scale in the water from making the countertops lighter and affecting their appearance. In actual use, avoid direct contact with high-temperature objects.

Cleaning: Because there are no fine lines, it has strong resistance to paint, stains, etc., and it is easier to clean. But the texture is too soft, so you must not use abrasive cleaners.

Cabinet refractory decorative board countertops

Maintenance: After use, the accumulated water and water stains should be wiped dry as soon as possible to avoid long-term soaking to prevent the surface of the table from being deformed. When using, avoid sharp objects directly hitting the countertop, and use a cutting board on the countertop when using knives. The hot pan cannot be placed on the countertop immediately after cooking.

Cleaning: Use soft cleaning cloths for the cabinets as much as possible, and do not use high-hardness cleaning appliances to avoid damage to the veneer. Do not put dyes or hair dyes directly on the countertop, and stubborn stains can be cleaned with neutral detergents.

Stainless steel countertop

Maintenance: Chemical effects have corrosive effects on the countertops of many materials. For example, the stainless steel countertops of cabinets may rust if they are stained with salt. Therefore, you should also pay attention to avoiding soy sauce bottles and other items directly on the countertops.

Cleaning: Do not use acidic and abrasive cleaning agents. At the same time, avoid using high-hardness cleaning tools such as steel balls. Excessive cleaning tools can easily cause surface fluffing and surface scratches.
